RIM Manufacturing offers full or partial assembly and is ISO Certified for Electro-Mechanical Assembly.
RIM Manufacturing has a dedicated Assembly area for those clients requiring full or partial assembly of parts. In some cases, RIM Manufacturing will assemble parts in it's facility and ship direct to the end user on behalf of its clients. In other cases, parts are shipped directly to the customer.
Assembled Ballot BoxRIM Manufacturing molded the three large plastic component parts you see here in this picture. The Top Housing, the Emergency Bin, the Ballot Box. Sitting on top of the Top Housing is an optical scanner used to receive voting Ballots.
RIM procured all of the hardware necessary to assemble the Ballot Boxes. Approximately 200 component parts were used in this Electro-Mechanical Assembly.
Each Ballot Box was inspected by our Quality Control Department to ensure quality operational functionality.
Secondary Operations
In some cases, RIM Manufacturing must perform Secondary processing on RIM Molded parts. That process might require preparing molded parts for post-painting or it might require simple assembly of hardware or self-tapping inserts.In the pictures below, RIM is taking is performing Secondary Operations on steel conveyor plates that have been encapsulated with polyurethane. Before shipment and final inspection, the plates need to be flattened for precision operation and then machined.
